Genuine musings of a 2YO

As we pulled up at the red light, it only dawned on me that Sofia Faith (my chatty 2YO) was no longer wearing her seatbelt when she began talking through her open window to the driver of a rather fetching pope mobile (high sided box on wheels), alongside us.

S: Hello man.
Driver: Hi (complete with big grin).
S: We've got a real car.

Travel musings of a 5YO & 2YO

En route to Stanstead airport:
E: Mummy, Miriam's been to Greece. She says it's awesome. So it must be.

Pulling into South Mimms Services:
S: Yey! Greece. We're here!

LIFE AS IT IS... Giving up a comforter proves harder for Mummy!

I've made a cuppa and am writing this post while my 5 & 2yo daughters are separated. In their bedrooms they now play alone, as quite clearly today, they cannot play together. Esme winds Fia up. Fia bites back. Literally.

Musings of a 2YO & LIFE AS IT IS

It was a crappy night.

Sofia Faith (my determined 2YO) woke up telling me that her nappy was wet.

Turned out, it wasn't just the nappy. It was her pj's and cot sheet too.

Bless her.

So there we are, at 3.20am, light's on and legs akimbo (her not me).

Sorted.

Musings of a 2YO

Sofia (with both vigour and volume): "NNNAUGHTY Mummy."
Mummy: "I'm not naughty Sofia."
Sofia: "Yes you are." (This comes out as 'yes oo ah').

And so it ends, with me cracking up laughing, which is just as well for I cannot argue with Fia. She is one of those kids that will always be right as far as she is concerned. God help me in the teen years!
