Perfect for creating on the go, this lovely Mini Stencil Set from the Great Gismo's Meadow Kids Range is aimed at children age 3+ and in this particular set, the stencils are aimed at girls. 

I'd say one of the best things about this arty product, is that it is compact enough to transport. And that it has simply loads of stencils neatly packed inside, including letters and different fun designs, along with paper, card and envelopes. 

It only contains five pencils however, (and sharpener), and Esme (age 6) had soon swapped those out for pens. 

By the way, the box is actually big enough to hold lots of different coloured felt-tips, just be careful to have thin tipped ones - for effective stencilling.

The box, which is sturdy, is also stylish - with its two tier tray effect - to use as a keepsake after to hold other treasures.

It is a lovely set of mini stencils with everthing your child needs to create their own cards.

As soon as Esme set eyes upon it, she was away in Esme world. A pink art-filled land of fairy magic.

Before dinner she had already created a birthday card and two thank you cards... see below.

The benefits of such an activity, are of course, adding a unique and personal touch to greetings cards, keeping your child happily occupied (big bonus), developing their eye for art, along with their fine motor skills, and, saving money on buying greeting cards. Win Win.
