Spice things up with this sweet chilli sauce recipe

Love sweet chilli sauce? You are not alone. But how many of us actually make it from fresh? Sister Kate from Ecuador sent me this ever so easy recipe a while back. It's so good, I thought I should share it... Question is, will you be sharing yours?!

Take 6 fresh jalapeno chillis,
deseed them and
blacken their skins (over a gas flame).
Place them on a plate, cover, and leave for 5-10 minutes, so the steam causes the skins to lift.
Remove the lifted skins and
place the skinned chillis in your blender.
Add the juice of 1 whole lemon,
2 tbsp of honey to sweeten,
and either a pinch of salt,
or, a dash of soy sauce.

You can enjoy it the same day, but I always think it improves if left overnight. Then you can add a little more lemon, honey or salt/soy to taste. Do keep it in the fridge. Yum, sweet sweet chilli.
