Can't concentrate? I try an in-house experiment (2)

A wee while ago, I set out trialling omega oil to see if it could help with my fidgety five-year-old's concentration levels. Her school day was particularly affected. You can read about that here.

It has been just over two months ago that I began giving Esme Grace Udo's choice. An oil which is a blend of plant omegas 3,6 and 9.

I have to report I have noticed a huge difference in her ability to concentrate at home. Little things such as following instructions, 'Go and get your shoes on and find your book bag for school,' which were next to impossible, have been something that she now can do without hesitation.

The other massive difference is that she is now playing by herself so much more than ever before. Doesn't that sound ridiculous? But honestly, she has never been great at it. However, now she will sit and get involved. She is able to remain in one place, to be quiet and focus, and allow herself the pleasure of play.

I am delighted with the positive result that omega oil has brought. It has most certainly made a difference to her. And to me for that matter.

What I am wondering now though is, has it made a difference to her school life? She had really found it difficult to sit still, to listen and to focus on what the teacher was saying.

Next month is parents evening, and I am on top line to find out if her teacher has noticed if Esme is now better able to concentrate in class.

I'm a massive fan of Udo's choice - have been for years and years - but have been using it on myself. I should start adding it to my kids food too! #pocolo

Grace has been taking vitamins since September - inc Omega Fish Oil - and (I am touching wood as I say this) she has not really been poorly! Hope it works for you :) Thank you for linking to PoCoLo x
