E: Mummy, I've heard there is going to be a solar eclipse in the morning, so will you please remind me that I have to walk to school backwards?

The morning's much anticipated solar eclipse was not visible on the walk to school today due to very cloudy conditions.
Esme understood that as a consequence of the cloud, there was no chance of her damaging her eyes by accidentally looking at it.
She still felt the need to walk all the way to school backwards.
Thank goodness we live pretty much next door.
I ask you.
