DAY 40 OF FRAMED - CATERPILLAR TO BUTTERFLY

DAY 40 OF FRAMED
CATERPILLAR TO BUTTERFLY

No real change except that a fine line now hangs in the balance of nature, and off of the bottom of the chrysalis.

Frankly, I can't decide if the chrysalis is fraying, and things are happening, or, if it is a bit of spider web and something has gone really rather wrong?

I read this morning, that this stage of the caterpillar - butterfly cycle can take anywhere between two weeks and a year.

We might be in for a long wait. (And forever if a spider has been involved).

This is a very delicate process and the slightest interference, will affect the metamorphosis.

So while we are waiting, here's another interesting fact for you: The most common butterfly happens to be the Cabbage White found in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Bermuda, and Hawaii.
