Is that a butterfly? - a library book review

A great book we discovered at the library, that does a brilliantly simple job of explaining the life cycle of a butterfly to a small child, is this one by Claire Llewellyn and Ant Parker.

WHAT WE LOVE:
Is that a Butterfly is a light-hearted and humourous introduction to the life cycle of a butterfly, as told by Bee and Snail.

It has bright, fun illustrations, and 'lift the flaps' - which all children love, along with a big pop up butterfly at the end.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR:
This is a very simple explanation; best suited to young children.

VERDICT:
It has been a useful tool to use alongside the metamorphosis that we were following.
